Reception

I found this photo when I travelled virtually in Rennes, city where I lived and worked in the beginning nineties of the last century.
At this time it was an hotel that kept his prestige by its facade, the interior had been spoiled by a mean renovation during the sixties (covered all over with brown carpet - becoming smelly and dingy by the time, formica furnitures, and so on).
I think it has been transformed into little appartments after I left my job (receptionist at night). Except the wage and the hard bench (where I was dozing after the last client waiting for the baker who dropped in early in the morning) the job wasn't that bad. I saw a lot of people (artists performing at the theater TNB or groups of pensioners coming by busses) and a lot of sitcoms on the tv which helped me to pass the long and idle time during the week.
